Concept of Country.

The extensive and expansive landmass... the terra firma... the abounding terrain does NOT maketh a country.

Rather... it is the resident people... and people alone that constitute-th the country.

The security apparatus ( any form, format, scale; and whether internal/ external ) of the country...
who are but part and parcel of the country... whilst serving the country MUST understand this...
that they serve NO physical terrain called the "COUNTRY" ...
in effect, they are there to serve the people. And, people alone.

They should FEEL themselves privileged to be provided the opportunity. For... even without ANY of them...
there are still many many more waiting in the sidelines... and actually much more capable that can take their place gainfully and much more effectively.

For we have a huge country... 1300 million people . There is no dearth of people and talent.

Contrarily... actually a problem of plenty !!

Lots and lots of people would love to enlist and serve... be part of the security apparatus, given an opportunity ( any form, format, scale; and whether internal/ external ).

For... there is actually a dearth of gainful opportunities, overall.

Comprendo !!


Now...
It is the people of the country who pay for them, manage them. Not the country's physical map.

They can NEVER, overall, exceed the people and decide to go overtly over-board... the way they choose to... the way they please.

They MUST NOT. MUST NEVER.

Must NEVER violate people's trust. Especially those who occupy pretty higher places/ offices.

Just because they have been given/ enjoy some special powers and privileges.

They must understand that they, but, serve for a fixed term/ period of time only.

And, what they choose to do... MUST NOT/ NEVER sully the reputation of the entire organization, for posterity.

Never heard that the talons and beak of a bird of prey... alternatively... the claws and the fangs of a beast of prey... preying on the self-same body and mind of the bird/ beast.

In fact, the talons/ beak and/ or the claws/ fangs sustain-eth the existence of the bird and/or the beast.
Not endanger or harm it.

That is counter to the laws of nature. Sooner or later they will be shown their place. Else the bird or the beast is poised to suffer, overall, for this transgression of the natural rules/ laws.

Intrinsically a strategic alliance as against overt subservience

A) PRIMARILY... when I find myself MIGHTILY exposed to petty and pretty dirty election politics ( EVIDENTLY, as I correctly perceive it )...

So... by association... ALL my kinsmen are ACTUALLY exposed as well; AND


B) ze Chief's observation in one of his recent posts that... had the Marathas won the third battle of Panipat, it would have actually led to Maratha-isation of a great part of India over a period of time.

Perhaps... extending till today's modern times, as well.

people will soon come to understand/ realize the truth inherent in what I state... when... even as of now or AFTER the Bihar polls are over...

ze Chief, et al comes for me. Of course, it might seem that PM Modi is to blame.
In fact, that may NOT be true. PM Modi may NOT stoop to such base politicking. INC, BJP, RSS might.

Though, some of his party-men could be exception. I can guess who ALL. But, let me NOT guess.

So, do I suspect that ze Chief is actually in cahoots... Yes !!

Actually... this write-up was NEVER supposed to be coming. This has been an INVITED nay actually a  PROVOKED post...

So... did ze Chief NOT imply that the Marathas would have replaced the ruling Kshatriya Kings in most of the areas under their control ? And, the former rulers ( Kshatriya Kings ) would have over a period of time been relegated to secondary or tertiary position in the social order.

In that eventuality...
Of course, the defeated Kings/ Chiefs might have ended up starting off as the vassals of the Marathas and then ceding the total cumulative power in a measured way over a period of time.

Say... down the line in the social hierarchy these vassal kings-turned-chieftains and their kinsmen ( devoid of power ) would have landed up/ relegated to some trade/ commerece/ craftsmen, etc. chore.

Perhaps, ostensibly forced to giving up arms and engaging in some trade or craft or agriculture.

In the current context they might turn out to be socially and perhaps educationally backward.
Just like the backwards of today. ( See, how times changed... Marathas relegated only to Maharashtra are, perhaps, OBC today. Compared to Rajputs of Rajputana who ALL might have moved to all the neighboring territories of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, MP, CG, HP, etc. and are in pretty good shape in the social/ economic ladder. )


Would that have NOT meant that in most of the states ruled by them, as ON today, Marathas would have certainly entrenched themselves as a major social and political force ?
With sizable populations grown over the last 2-3 centuries.


Actually... that never actually transpired owing to their loss at the third battle of Panipat.
Else...we might be STILL seeing Maratha people dominating the mainstream in almost a major part of the captured domains. Dominating in all the form, formats and scale.


All over the north and central India. And, playing a major role in central politics.
Yet... we see one central minister late Gopinath Munde dying in a real freak accident.
Else... he was for sure to be the current CM of Maharashtra. So, who lost ? In effect, who gained ?

Rule was terminated in the year - 1530 AD.

After Babur, Bairam Khan was the Mughal general and caretaker of the Mughal empire on behalf of Akbar.

If I am correct then- during this period Sher Shah Suri had broken free and consolidated power.
He was an Afghan vassal under the Mughal empire in eastern India, who chose to break away from the Mughal empire.

VERY IMPORTAT NOTE -
The Afghans ( from Gandhaar Desh ) were NOT that extreme hard-liners like the Mughals.

Whilst Mughals were deemed as a serious threat to India as their kin were entrenched in Persia, etc. regions.

And, these all external forces could have ganged up together at any time to launch joint attacks on the Indian territories.

And, those days it was not unusual for the Afghan generals/ chiefs to serve the Hindu/ Buddhist/ Jain Kshatriya kings.

Conversely, in fact several instances of Hindu generals/ chiefs serving the Afghan Sultans was common.


IMPORTANTLY -
Those days - the Afghans were considered more as natives of the country compared to the Mughals.


CONTRARILY -
The Mughals were considered as unwanted foreigners to be kept at bay/ shunned.
Having their origin from the plunderer Tamer Lane.

( 2.A ) Read in ze Chief's post that the fearless Mongol Emperor Changez Khan was Angraj Karna's direct descendant.

- That also meant that Taimur Lane was also in the same lineage.

- And that meant that the Mughals ( who had descendence from Taimur Lane ) would be knowing for sure that they had indeed descended from Changez Khan.


QUESTION...
Did the Hindu Kings those days could NOT make out the ancestry of the Mughal dynasty ? Or, did they knew... ?


( 2.B ) After defeating the Mughal ( Akbar's ) army - ( Battle of Delhi ).

HEMU ascended ONTO DELHI throne as HemaChandra VikramAditya on 1556 AD .



( 2.C ) Second battle of Panipat - 1556 AD . Hemu versus Mughals ( actually headed by Bairam Khan )

Hemu's army was FIVE times superior to Akbar's army ( per, Wikipedia. )

At the point of an assured win by Hemu... an arrow hits his eye. He falls unconscious on the elephant howdah.

This is a game changer. And...
leads to a Mughal win, followed by Akbar's coronation at Delhi.

AN IMPORTANT OBSERVATION HERE -
 
It is near to impossible that a 5:1 army lead by a ground general loses at the crest of glory.

At the point of winning the WAR ( Note here - it was NOT a battle... but a WAR )...

until and unless the arrow is actually coming from home-grown traitor(s) on Hemu's side. !!
( mE take !! )

Hemu's win could have redefined the Indian medieval and modern history.
That was not to be.


EXTREMELY IMPORTANT POINT TO PONDER -
It is quite puzzling to note that response of most of the Kings around Delhi...

They would NOT have preferred Hemu to win. Lest Hemu becomes the newly anointed King of Delhi, and then goes on to entrench himself. In Delhi, as also in major parts of North India.

Yet it is really surprising that the Indian Hindu Kings in the vicinity and round-abouts of Delhi had NO prescient plans of their own... i.e. up their sleeves.

NO ACES UP THEIR SLEEVES !! ??

SOMETHING LIKE...
i.e. in the eventuality of a Mughal win ... they had every reason to covertly BAND UP together and gang bang the Mughals to non-existece from the Indian scene.

What about - few OR they all gang up and accost the Mughal army headed by Bairam Khan at the moment they
emerge victorious and are war TIRED to boot !!

Would that have NOT ensured...  "Mughaliya saltanat ka kissa khatam... circa 1556 AD !! "

Well... WHY they chose NOT to effect this ??

WHY ??

Did they had some sort of a covert/ sacred pact with the Mughals ?

WHY ? ze Chief ?

( 3.A ) Akbar accomplished 40 royal marriages for him, his sons and grand-sons out of which 17 were Rajput-Mughal alliance. ( per Wikipedia )

And... from "Raja" Man Singh onwards... it is... march to "Maharaja" Jai Singh.

Conquest of Odisha by Raja Man Singh of Amber, Rajputana ( present day Jaipur, Rajasthan )

( 4.A ) In 1588 AD Raja Man Singh of Amber is appointed Governor of Bengal.


( 4.B ) ManBhoom in West Bengal and SinghBhoom in Bihar were named by/ after Raja Man Singh after reclaiming these. From whom ? No idea.

Maybe from the Sultans or the Magadhan Buddhist Kings. Who were in the lineage of "Ashoka the Great". Seems plausible.

Raja Man Singh appointed Governor of present day - **Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha.

After compromising Shivaji Maharaj Bhonsle's actual strength/ position after confiscating many of his strategic forts, in a series of win by the Mughal army.

And... it was actually Mirza Raja Jai Singh of Amber ( JAIPUR ) who was heading the Mughal expedition
against Shiva JI Maharaj !!

This is the same ShivaJi Maharaj Bhonsle who had the blessings of Samarth Guru Ramdas.
These people and the TEN SIKH GURUS saved the HINDUS from total annihilation, actually.

ALL HINDUS must be EVER thankful to them - Samarth Guru Ramdas, the TEN SIKH GURUS, Shiva JI Maharaj !!

FOR STAYING HINDUS TILL TODAY.

Actually, almost a thousand years before ShivaJi Maharaj Bhonsle strode this land... it was actually very well predicted/ prophesied that such a King will ARRIVE and save Hindus AND Hinduism.

< 6 > 27 year Mughal-Maratha war : 1680-1707 AD
    
Under Peshwa Baji Rao - present day Gujarat, Rajasthan and Malwa ( present day Madhya Pradesh ) were captured by the Marathas.

( 6.A ) Third battle of Panipat - 1761 AD

-  No support from Rajputs, Jats and Sikhs; to the Marathas. Against the Mughals.

-  A conclusive Maratha win would have decimated the Mughals.
Thereby ending the Mughal rule/ empire.

At the same time, this might have led to MARATHA-ISATION of almost great parts of INDIA.

WOULD THAT NOT HAVE BEEN MUCH BETTER THAN MUGHAL RULE ?


< 7 > During Aurangzeb's rule -

- Mughal empire went from 1.0 million square kilometers to 3.2 million square kilometers.

- Jaziya tax was imposed primarily to finance the war expeditions in order to extend his domain and dominion.

See in Wikipedia for the map - to see as to how the empire swelled under Aurangzeb's rule.

It is IMPORTANT to note that what territories the Mughals had consolidated and gained under Akbar. The "ALLIANCE" consolidated and gained during the times of Jehangir and Shah Jahan. 50 - 60 years consolidation.

And, were these kings the product of Mughal-Rajput alliance. Maybe so !!

So... toe hold actually became foot hold... and then... actually getting to be well entrenched in 50-60 years time frame during the rules of Jehangir
and Shah Jahan and their times.

TOEHOLD -> FOOTHOLD -> WELL ENTRENCHED !!

New rules and rulers with loyal coterie, at the helm ?? Sure... looks like so.

As part of the strategy of Raja Man Singh at head of Mughals...
after running over a new terrain by the Mughal forces... could be something like...

... the defeated Kshatriya Kings or Chiefs ( could be Hindu/ Buddhist/ Jain ) and their kinsmen had but few options, like...

a) Mughal generals would have wanted them to convert to Islam. For sure. By sword or sops...

Alternatively...

b) Is it highly possible... that...

Raja Man Singh would have seen to it that "HIS" key Rajput lieutenants in his (MUGHAL) army got into a matrimonial alliance with the defeated Kings/ chiefs from the royal blood line.

i.e. the defeated king and his kinsmen have to offer the best of their women folks in matrimonial alliance to the Rajput chieftains from the Rajput-Mughal forces.

And, perhaps these "allianced" Rajput chieftains are entreched in the newly gained Mughal territory, backed by a numerically superior Mughal force. i.e. in effect -the "allianced" Rajput chieftains' rule, in effect, IS backed by the Rajput-Mughal troops !! Add to that the newly found matrimonial alliance with the defeated kings and their near kin that is leveraged as a shield against any potential mis-adventure against their NOW newly-begun rule.

Meanwhile...

the defeated Kshatriya Kings and their kinsmen are either to become a subservient part of this "newly foisted" rule on them... or... made to disperse/ dissipate thence forths ( to minimize the risk of an uprising by these folks who all gang up and attempt to recoup the lost "realm" from the Rajput-Mughal alliance's newly foisted neo Satrap/ troops !! )

THEN... ACTUALLY...
Highly possible that quite a lots of these defeated Kshatriyas might lead to another adjoining or distant territories to lead a new life. Sans arms and power. Devoid of troop-power and any actual wealth.

Perhaps... as tradesmen or in commerce or in agriculture...

Having been deprived of their kingdom and the right to wield arms, power, authority... !!!

Whatever trade/ business/ occupation came their way they made it their NEW vocation.

Highly possible... since... in today's India...
many OBCs, etc. in the current situation recall their old past and proclaim a royal Kshatriya association and a royal Kshatriya lineage !! They claim and consider themselves as Kshatriyas.

For...

History is mainly written ( and majorly falsified ) by the Victors. Remember ze Chief's words !


c) This same situation as in b) would have facilitated the Mughal-Rajputs to CONSOLIDATE during the reign of
Jahangir and Shah Jahan in most of the parts of North India, meanwhile, over a span of 50-60 years.

After, having consolidated and amply fortified... did they went onto for the remaining Kshatriya Kings ?

Here - any Afghan/ Sultan rule overrun by the Mughals DID not necessarily mean that the previous Kshatriya
rulers/ chiefs under them and ALL their kinsmen were actually gone from the scene for good.

Chances are... they could have been momentarily weakened and compromised... waiting for the chance to recoup their losses.

No doubt, during the times of Aurangzeb... there was a massive extermination of Hindus.
Especially in eastern and central India.

Sop and swords were used freely. More... the sword.

The jaziya tax was actually imposed to fund this expansionist military campaigns.

In present day Bihar there was massive termination of the native population.
Very few people remained who were non-Muslims.

The native ruling elites were nearly wiped off, some say.

Especially from the lineage of the Buddhist Magadhan kings, during the 15th-16th centuries.
Belonging to the lineage of Ashoka.

MOOT QUESTION...

So... do we assume that the Rajputs in all of North India are actually originally from erstwhile Rajputana ( present day Rajasthan ) of the medieval times ?

And... the "DEFEATED" native kshatriya rulers have had mostly had no other choice but to change professions to - trade/ agriculture/ business/ commerce, etc.

Most of those people who are actually in "compromised social status" today and claim royal lineage were once the rulers in a certain land or in their lands.
And... indeed belong to a kshatriya lineage as they rightfully proclaim.

- Orchha ruler - Jujhar Singh

- Maharaja Chhtrasal ( Bundela ) fought Aurangzeb.

Established kingdom in Bundelkhand. Became the Maharaja of Panna.

Mirza Raja Jaswant Singh of Marwar, who had fought against Aurangzeb in his war of succession and was far uneasy in alliance with Mughals

        Punjab  - it is Khatri

W. Bengal - is it Ugra Kshatriya or Kshatriya ? Not sure.
Not sure WHERE ALL the actual kshatriyas in the Bangladesh, West Bengal and Odisha have gone ?? All converted to Islam in Bangladesh ? Maybe.
So, does that explain why Hindus are so scarce in Bangladesh region ?

In the states of Bihar, Uttar-Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya-Pradesh,
ChhattisGarh, Odisha - it used to be Kshatriya and Kshatriya alone.
Here... many set of people proclaim ANCIENT kshatriya ancestry.

In the erstwhile Rajputana ( present day Rajasthan ) - it is the Rajputs.
Though there could be others who are proclaimants to ANCIENT kshatriya ancestry.

Bundelkhand - is so named after the Bundelas.
       
Rajputs in the BiMarU states Bihar, Uttar-Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Madhya-Pradesh, ChhattisGarh, Rajasthan are quite well off and well placed. As they have managed well to stay above the rest of the others. Even during the British rules and there-after.
        BEGINNER'S ADVANTAGE.

In fact many gainfully had win-win alliances with the Britishers, even during Mughal times and much later.. as well.
 
Getting the likes of - 21, 19, 11, etc. canon salutes during British rules.



KEY QUESTION -
Is it possible that the Rajputs from Rajputana wound up their way in almost all the North\ Central Indian territories on the back of blood-drenched Mughal conquests ? ze Chief ??

Later... consolidating themselves much better... during and under the British rule ?

POINT TO PONDER -
Why is it that only Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh ( BiMaRU ) states lagged during the last 40-67 years post independence.

These states were laggards. But who all people went from strength to strength during these years ?
And, have pretty well entrenched. Alternatively, Who ALL have been major losers ?

Is something the people in these states MUST think out.

     British East India Company ( EIC ) was led by Hector Munro .

     British EIC troops numbered - 7072 ; this included -

     British EIC Troops  - 857
     Indian Sepoys       - 5,297
     India Cavalry       - 918

     In effect, the Britishers were = 12.12 % of the total strength !!

     AGAINST an alliance of -

     a) Mir Qasim, Nawab of Bengal, and
     b) Nawab of Awadh, and
     c) Mughal King - Shah Alam - II

     Whose TOTAL troops numbered = 40,000 ( Forty Thousand )

     A ratio of 565:100 !!

See... HOW one can do with much less and conquer the world. The sly Brits did it.

What is the common factor between the two -

a) If you go to the Wikipedia pages on Aurangzeb - you see a dagger having a green colored hilt.
How come Aurangzeb got in possession of this dagger ?

Akbar did not had it, it seems.
From whence Aurangzeb sourced this dagger ? From which newly conquered Kingdom ?

b) In the recent movie BAHUBALI - one sees a royal sword having a similarly designed/ shaped hilt.

QUESTION -
What is the connection/ point of origin between - Aurangzeb dagger's hilt and the royal sword's hilt ?

From where was Aurangzeb's dagger sourced ?

SOME ANCIENT PEOPLE/ LINEAGE ??

Many set of people from South Asia maintain their ancestry/ genealogical records.


This includes their family history, records of familial ties, etc. for hundreds or perhaps even several tens of hundreds of years or perhaps even... thousands of years.

This is a practice endemic in several caste groups in India as well.
Say among the Hindus- amongst Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Rajputs, some Kayasthas and some Vaish, as well.

This practice might be found even so amongst certain people amongst the Muslims.
Who ALL might well know their pre-Islam origins.

More so, in case... they are actually Muslims who have been formerly Hindus in any of the above-mentioned categories.

They might very well ( mostly ) know their family history. When their family moved over to Islam ( from Hinduism ). And... under what circumstances... whether it was by sops or by force of swords or by personal choice.

IMPORTANTLY...
In India...
Even if a Muslim individual DOES NOT or MAY NOT know his exact ancestry details.
There are people entrenched in the sub-continent's society who track ALL this data/ details pretty meticulously.


MOOT IDEA IS WHY ? WHY PEOPLE HAVE SO MUCH INTEREST IN ANCESTRY AND THE FAMILY ROOTS ?
FACTUALLY SPEAKING, THAT IS INHERENT IN THE INDIAN DNA.


In this regards, recalling that I read in some newspaper few years back, that...
late BAL Thackeray ( a CKP ) ancestry was traced back to Magadhan empire ( now- Bihar ), to nearly/ some TWO THOUSAND years back. And... how his ancestors wound their way thru' M.P. to land in Maharashtra. Mumbai.

Now, amongst Muslims in the sub-continent... generally... sheikhs, saiyyads, dars, ranas, khans, etc. might mostly know their point of change-over and in some/ many occasions they will know the Hindu families that are currently existing from the self same family tree. And/ or, vice-versa.

They might have covert engagement, as well. This remains an IN-DENIABLE FACT.

THEY KNOW THEIR ROOTS. PERIOD.

Now, these people can be in India or Pakistan or Bangladesh or Nepal.

There are historical and ancestral ties still held and cherished by people where in they know their exact familial counterparts across the border(s).
( Whether - India-Nepal, India-Pakistan or India-Bangladesh )


IMPORTANT FACT...
Religion and nationalities could be different. Still there could be a covertly underlying current of filial bondings between two sets of people separated by religion and the national boundaries.


Eg. -
1) recall BJP leader Jaswant Singh praising MA Jinnah just because Jinnah had confirmed Rajput ancestry.

2) recently "Chief" threatening to expose UP politico Azaam Khan's family background/ history/ ancestry on his tanker nee blog.

3) The Sheikhs of Bangladesh have Brahmin ancestry ( an origin/ deflection point NOT any more than 100-500 years old ).

Till some decades back... in the Indian sub-continent there have been instances of people of the same family tree living in a village ( say ) but belonging to two different faiths- as Hindus and Muslims.
This is even possible to be observed today.

Else/ also...
Once they migrate over to different areas... still they may or may not stay in contact.


IMPORTANT TO NOTE -
Since the Mughal times... the Muslims have very close contacts/ relations with Rajputs and Kayasthas from the Hindu society. And, these ties endure... particularly so in the formerly North Indian territories of undivided India.

Now... lots and lots of the leadership in Pakistan are from Kshatriya / Rajput ancestry.
The Punjabi Muslims call the shots in Pakistani establishment and the armed forces.

And, they want to maintain status quo... on this front. No matter how... and... how-so-ever.

For them other/ alternate power centers is an anathema.
Recall the plight of Mojahirs who are treated as out-siders. What, if they were, but, Punjabi sunni rather than Bihari muslims ?

( Similar situation in India... where specific caste-groups have maintained hold over the net/ effective rule at New Delhi. NO matter how. And... how-so-ever. And, they are NOT letting go... Anyhow... )

Many Hindu as well as Muslim families have enduring roots and ties across the border.

Writing to draw attention of our current army chief.

Who incidentally MUST know, understand and appreciate that if I had NOT objected to non-appointment of the army chief just because of EC strictures/ stipulations prior/ during the LS polls in 2014.

Then... in all probability he WOULD NOT have been an army chief in case the matter were to be decided by the current NDA govt. post May, 2014 polls.

For sure, these people would have appointed someone else. In this context I do STILL recall that one politician who went on to become a cabinet rank minister had vehemently opposed appointment of the army chief by the UPA regime.

Way... much ahead of the polls... whilst the EC strictures were in place.

As...these NDA people wanted to put their handpicked person at the top. Their own people.

And... that would have meant that we would have been seeing some one else heading the Indian Army.
Am sure on this.

JUST MAKING A SMALL YET A VERY VERY CRITICAL POINT HERE. PEOPLE WILL HAVE TO AGREE ON THIS.


IMPORTANTLY and INCIDENTALLY...
Any army chief, in a situation of imposed Emergency leading to martial rule/ law can choose to be hand in glove with the ruling dispensation.
Else, the army chief can choose to be pretty much HIS own boss along with the armed forces top brass at the helm.

An idea NOT to be ruled out in the current situation of global conflicts and simmering economic crises.
And, the possibility of an internally triggered or externally foisted false flag ( FF ).

Am I NOT correct ??

Having said that... the reason I mention this instance is for the Chiefs in the armed forces to understand... appreciate... and... internalize way too well that WE MUST have a pretty well diversified and some sort of NON-homogeneousness in the make of the strategic postings/ deployments in the armed forces and as also in the intel agencies. A MUST.

( Something... I believe might be lacking as of today. MUST need be addressed. This poses a security threat of sorts, to the nation. What I DO imply - MUST be pretty well understood. Given the context. )


It MUST NOT be possible for potentially well entrenched "malignant" elements to start off the goli/ gola thing so that a few set of people have planned/ schemed and want to -

a) divert attention,

b) seek attention or re-attention; most important of all

Effect of insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers on the eVer receding ground water table

Most of the insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers available and in use in the country are of inorganic nature.

Mostly and majorly these are NOT bio-degradable.

In effect, these percolate down the top soils and get locked into the top and top-to-medium soil layers. Over a period of time these complex inorganic compounds tend to - solidify/ 'calcify'/ encrust.

This implies that perhaps very-very slowly decaying/ degrading complex inorganic chemicals get interlocked with the equally complex compoundedly varying chemical composition of the soil strataS.

Invariably- this results in soil strata getting more harder at varying soil depths.

I effect - during monsoon the water seepage rate or the seep thru' rate on such a soil is bound to be impacted. In effect - most the water will VERY slowly seep thru' to the underlying ground water aquifers. Net result is that most of the water runs off the ground and is thereby wasted.

The underground water table is not adequately replenished as it ought to, as such.

Now...
Compare this to the usage of organic-origin & bio-degradable insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers.

Herein, the soil is more porous as there is every likelihood of nano, micro, milli, etc. organisms, earthworms, insects, etc. making the soil stratas more healthy, porous therefore air-soaked and brimming with nano/ micro, etc. living entities all the way downwards.

So... during monsoon or a downpour - most of the water will tend to seep thru' to under ground water tables.
And a greater part of the water is captured by the soil strata rather than been run off as waste- down on to sea.

The soil is mostly soggier here. Implying a greater water retentivity is actualized. Result- better seepage.
As such -higher water table per year. In aggregate - more replenished.

TO NOTE  -
GM crops are extensively water thirsty and the insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers used are very complexly inorganic to boot. And, non-bio-degradable, as well.

In addition they either destroy OR permanently negatively transmute the DNA/ RNA of the soil organisms, worms, insects, etc.



NOW note that...
Only these 'living soil' brimming with the right kind of organisms, worms, insects, etc. ONLY which ALL essentially keep the soil healthy, primarily.


BOTTOM-LINE -

Water wars are in the offing in the oncoming 12-30 years time. This is for sure.

Time to understand the gravity of the situation and prevent it becoming full blown national crisis.

222) The prime minister ( the chief of the amatyas i.e. the chief amatya ) of the Nanda Kings of the mighty Magadha empire was Amatya Rakshasa.

It is important to note that after the Nanda King was dethroned+destroyed and followed by the ascension to the Magadhan throne by Chandra Gupta Maurya...

Chanakya retained Amatya Rakshasa as the chief of the Amatyas.

So... seems like Amatya Rakshasa pretty well saved his life and went on to retain his amatya-ship. For himself, all his kinsmen and his lineage...

How come he managed this ?? Is a must ponder for any one !!

Could very well imply that he was loyal to the throne of Pataliputra rather than the one sitting on it ?? Or...

Is this to be interpreted that Amatya Rakshasa had a covert ( albeit unspoken ) understanding with Chanakya !!



333) Birbal was yet another amatya in Mughal Badshah Akbar's court.

Made popular by various tales of his wit, wisdom and intelligence.

Even today his lineage continues with gay abandon in the Indian society.
In another form, factor and scale. As, someone was once gloating/ telling.

Although, the Mughals have vanished into nothingness over the same period of time.


444) There was a Southern Kalchuri King BIJJALA II .

( Sometime, during the 12th century AD in the present day Karnataka state. )

King BIJJALA II was often referred to as "Maha-Bhuja-Bala-Chakravarti" aka BAHUBALI.


King BIJJALA II had an amatya by the name of Basavanna. His chief treasurer and confidante.
He would have had many other amatyas, as well.

Now, during the Kalchuri King BIJJALA II's time...
There is an instance of a ruse, a very crafty stratagem employed by someone...
or, perhaps a set of pretty crafty people.

Whilst King BIJJALA II was actually in the process of entrenching himself well AND consolidating his empire.

What transpired was... actually a well crafted setup... something akin to...
A Brahmin man married a lowest caste woman. Something that was NOT allowed those days by the social norms/ rules of the state. Even, by the promulgated royal decree.


Now...
There was much furore and social unrest owing to this event...

And, there were demands by ( mainly ) priesthood for tough regal action to deter this.
But, for the majority of the masses this was OK.
This is what they would have wanted viz. Free for ALL ??

Now, whilst...
ANY sane and wise amatya would advise the King to ostracize the couple with some demeaning punishment ( as suiting those days to deter repeat of the such similar offence by the masses ).

And, perhaps best judgement was to send the couple to some other country ( "desh nikala" ).

Seems like... Kalchuri King BIJJALA II was ill-advised and therefore he mis-judged the situation...

And... being a BAHUBALI i.e. "Maha-Bhuja-Bala-Chakravarti" he went with the brawn matter rather than pretty carefully mulling over the future effects of his royal verdict.

( Egregious blunder that would cost him REAL dear and change the course of medieval+modern world history. )

Owing to royal verdict this inter-caste married couple were pronounced to be put to death.
And, this judgment was actually carried out.

Now... it is said/ speculated not without reason that...
there were veiled snakes in disguise who used this instance to foment MUCH unrest throughout his kingdom.

His covert opponents/ enemies used this instance to foment social unrest and create much trouble that weakened his kingdom.
Paved the way for his murder before he could perfectly entrench himself and consolidate his Kingdom.

Ultimately, his premature leave from the royal scene paved the way for the fall of the Southern Kalachuri dynasty, in effect.

Southern Kalachuri Kings reminds one of the Northern Kalachuri Kings...

Kalchuri Kings were Haihaya Vanshiya Kshatriyas.

The Northern Kalchuri Kings... with their centre of power somewhere near the present day Jabalpur, MP ( What about say- TeVar ). They and their Kingdom were ALL replaced gradually and subsequently by Chandelas, Bundelas, etc. dynasties.

But, one will see that perhaps the self-same Amatyas and their lineage flourished and... continued then,
there-after and even to this present day.

How's that possible ?? !!

Well... Well... AMATYA power !! For... AMATYAs DO NOT forget !!

Somavanshi Kalchuri Kings also reminds one of the recent blockbuster movie BAHUBALI.
And, how there are some marked ( uncalled for ) mis-representations in the movie.


555) Minister Vidur was the wisest amatya in Hastinapur's court.

He alone was the ONLY one who clearly recognized, understood and knew that Sri Krishna was NO ordinary person. Rather HE = the PARAM PURUSH. Verily the LORD incarnate HIMSELF.

After the MahaBharata war was over. And, the Pandavas gained the kingdom @ Hastinapur.

Minister ( amatya ) Vidur was retained by the Pandavas. His loyalty lied with the throne.
And, to Dharma. Rather to any person.


666) Amatya Hemu aka HemaChandra Vikramaditya was originally from Sasaram, Bihar.
Actually- a Rauniar bania from BIHAR. Rauniars claim him as their own.

He was a petty officer in the ranks of Adil Shah Suri based in Bihar. Owing to his quick and sharp mind he rose on to become an amatya. Later- the chief amtya.

Later on he was able to consolidate the Afghan fiefdoms under different Afghan chiefs and brought them under one single command viz. under himself.

Consolidating power he went on to reclaim Delhi from the Mughals while Akbar was a "baccha" = kid.
And, Bairam Khan ruled the roost, on Akbar's behalf.

He sure had great military insight and keen strategy. Enthroned himself as a Hindu style Chakravartin Samrat at Delhi in 1556 AD !!

Whilst Hemu was at the cusp of glory. At the point wherein the Mughals were decimated and running helter skelter. So... WIN proclamation WAS but a few moments away.

But then, Hemu had a arrow piercing his eye. He fell inside the elephant howdah.
This was used by the remnants of the enemy to signal a win for themselves.
As such his soldiers panicked. And much disarrayed they dispersed in absence of a veritable field commander.
Whom they took as killed. Hemu was, at best, injured and unconscious.

In effect- he very well was near packing off the Mughals from the Indian scene for quite some while.
Perhaps- for eVer. And, for Good.

This did NOT transpire. Why ?
